Tyres are the only part of a motorhome or caravan which are in constant contact with the road. Safety in acceleration, braking and steering all depend on a relatively small area of road contact. It is therefore of paramount importance that tyres should be maintained in good condition at all times. Remember, tyres deteriorate due to lack of use (standing still), incorrect pressure and age. Even though you may have plenty of tread left, you should replace them if they are showing signs of ageing.
